Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Academic staff and doctoral students can borrow books from other university libraries – within the conditions determined by the other library – through the library. In order to borrow books from the libraries of other universities, the user must click on the “Interlibrary Loan (ILL)” tab on our website. After logging in from the ”Log In” screen, its form must be filled out and saved.

In case of problems with passcode and password operations you can send an e-mail to the address ill@ticaret.edu.tr or you can contact the ILL unit by phone at 444 0 413 / 4483.

Rules for Interlibrary Loan

• Academicians and Doctoral Students of the University
• The number of publications that can be borrowed from the relevant university library and the return period are within the framework of the ILL conditions determined by that library.
• It is important to comply with the return date declared by our library.
• When the requested publication is received, the requester is informed by e-mail and telephone.

Other University Libraries

• Other universities make their requests through KITS (ANKOS Interlibrary Collaboration Tracking System).
• Lending is made by evaluating the ILL requests made to our library within the framework of the general lending instruction.
• 10 books can be given per library for 15 days.
• Libraries have the right to extend 1 time.
• Shall the material is lost or damaged, the same is provided.
• The library reserves the right to withdraw the sources, shall the library users need the interlibrary lent source.
